New section on our page

As we are currently focusing on English grammar with many different classes, here's a new section on our web page to support that:

Tips: Grammar and Language Structure

You are welcome to take a look!
Tenses and Reported Speech are the first topics that are covered there in a more in-depth way.

Now we know what are idioms!

Last week all of us discussed the meaning of idioms, and we also learned three of them with the word *tea* (in the memory of our Yorkshire tea-drinking :)
  • It's not my cup of tea
  • I wouldn't do it for all the tea in China
  • As good as a chocolate teapot

Here's the video, too:

A great way to learn more idioms is to watch more of those clips by BBC. Check out this page:

    London

This year the 7th grade students have a chance to become our school representatives* in London quiz for students from different schools all over Tallinn. As London is of interest to many of us, I am posting here publicly some links that help us to get to know more about London.

On October 19 all the 7th graders will participate in our school's London quiz. With this quiz we would like to choose our school's team who will prepare for the big quiz. The big quiz for students from different schools will take place on December 1. The topics include history, geography, sights, traditions, legends etc.

If you have any questions or if would like to discuss anything, you are most welcome to post your thoughts as comments to this posting. Have a great weekend! :)
